I believe in taking every day as a learning phase, and exploring my writing skills. I have enjoyed the challenges as a journalist, content writer and college lecturer, and at the moment am living life analysing the extraordinary in the ordinary!

House of Wisdom

Grandparents are archetypes of wisdom and healing, the balance of masculine and feminine energies within us.

Like rivers and sky, they embody opposites: action and stillness, intellect and presence. Their wisdom flows through us, reminding us that true learning is both active and reflective.

Life is a cycle too, with flow and transformation as its resilient currents.

Remembering my grandparents with gratitude, in the quiet imprint of nature and spirit.

NaPoWriMo 2025 – Day 30

April Poetry Writing Month – Day 30

On the final day of April Poetry Writing Month 2025, I reflect on the experience of writing poetry for 30 days – using stream of consciousness, a literary technique masterfully employed by Virginia Woolf (1882-1941), a leading modernist author of the 20th Century.

This style allows thoughts to flow freely, unfiltered and spontaneous, capturing the inner workings of the mind in a realistic way.

Thank you (all) for pausing, reading, and supporting these poems throughout the journey.
