NaPoWriMo 2025 – Day 9

April Poetry Writing Month – Day 9

Harmony – We seek what we never lost, in the chorus of birds. We are birds, relearning the song.

Birds as archetypes: the magpie distracted by glitter, the crow and cuckoo tangled in misunderstanding, and the migratory wings that remind us of the cycle of returns.

Poetry Prompt: Harmony of Birds

NaPoWriMo 2024 – Day 30 – Short Poetry – Monostich

I have written a ‘Monostich’, a contemporary poetic form of single-line verse, known for its expressive brevity. In this compact space, complex ideas and imagery converge, inviting contemplation and interpretation.

Central to my exploration are the symbols of the blackbird and dandelion, each carrying layers of meaning: mystery,  communication, transformation, and freedom.

The theme of self-expression guides me in my self-introspection: 30 days of writing 30 poems, a personal odyssey of creativity and self-discovery through verses.

Deepest gratitude for reading my poems.

Thank you
