I heard voices,
Decipher not one.
They heard me not,
As I struggled to lift up –
Enveloped in fear ‘n’ trembling.
“Not real” heard distantly,
I wake up with a racing heart.
Sleep wasn’t peaceful.

A heart heals.
Every tranquil soul unites –
A vision undisguised.
Our languages seemingly spell love;
Compassion feels alive.
Forgiveness pursues gratitude towards life;

Faded, In a Way…
She painted her nails in a shade of red,
Trusting the powers of colour;
And faded her pains to a new-found joy,
When minutes paused in a way….
She picked on her steps from tap to a dance,
Matching rhythms of heart and soul,
Rising energies and rinsing shades,
And fading into her new-found Self,
