NaPoWriMo 2024 – Day 18 – Short Poem – Crow

Growing up, I watched my grandfather nurture a unique bond with the crows he fed daily. While their presence initially filled me with apprehension, I soon came to appreciate their elegance and confidence, influenced by my grandfather´s reverence for them as a symbol of ancestral spirits in the culture of India.

In a world through the eyes of a crow, I invite you to explore the complexities of existence, societal judgment, and the search for self-discovery and acceptance. Through the lens of these intelligent and enigmatic birds, I see our journey is intricately intertwined with theirs. We are no different!

NaPoWriMo 2024 – Day 5 – Free Verse – Can´t Find

Today, I have attempted free verse, a form of poetry that does not follow strict structure or rhyme schemes. Free verse allows for greater freedom in terms of line length and other regular parameters in poetry. It relies on elements such as imagery and metaphors to express emotions.

NaPoWriMo 2024 – April 3 – Wildflowers

The beauty of wildflowers is a source of joy. Fresh, pure, and innocent – these are the qualities I would use to describe it. They can thrive in any environment, embodying freedom to hope and live, displaying resilience. Wildflowers offer us valuable lessons to contemplate.
