Learning to let the writing speak for itself without overexplaining.
This poem is a complete spill as I was throwing away my dried rose arrangement. It became a pure stream of consciousness reflection on how we bloom, wilt, and carry our lives proudly anyway.
Sitting with reflection as one year moves into another, I turn to nature for answers and am reminded that it is continuity I honour.
Endings and beginnings move like currents in the ocean of the living and the imagined world, quiet expressions of an underlying law shaped by the greatest force of energy.
When the illusion breaks, and we awaken from the mind-woven dreams of reality, we return to the patterns we have always followed, offered another chance to undo, to rewire, and to shape a version of ourselves that feels aligned and more deeply understood.
Some pauses take longer than we expect. I carry deep gratitude for all the motivating reads, and the patient support through the years.
