Reality

Reality,
I believe is what I see;
Yet I see not
Reality.
Shrouded,
Images of reality;
Stored reality is always
Shrouded.
“Stop once and look!
It’s you and me.”
A red rose has imperfection.
Strangely, imperfect perfection is rose.

Who has answers
Who has answers to the superficiality
Superfluous enquiry of life?
Mind musing,
The scribbles of journal.
Reside in shadow work
Fleeting thoughts of unfamiliar.
Do I hold the answers deep within to
The statement, mind an illusion?

On That Day

I didn’t wish to be there
On that day.
But somehow I am here
As of today.
The clouds told the sea;
The wind told the palms.
But the carpet grass rejoiced,
As the shadow stayed poised.
Have I known you, ever?
Every day, newer?
Roots shallow or deep, I gather
We live in today, together.
Said the greens to the woods
As air, water and light witnessed.
