I believe in taking every day as a learning phase, and exploring my writing skills. I have enjoyed the challenges as a journalist, content writer and college lecturer, and at the moment am living life analysing the extraordinary in the ordinary!

Here and Now

image

The dandelion survived wind
While the surfer maneuvered,
Riding the waves fearlessly
Overcoming space and time
In here and now.

As I sat watching the conqueror on surfboard,
Counting the rise and fall
And the policing seagulls,
My mind invited Jonathan, Bach’s Seagull
‘There is no other.’

Unfolds

image

Unfolds the rose bud
Each layer double coloured;
The next day fades
Petals pale and fragrance bailed.
The pollen a bright yellow
Tender to touch
Puzzles life to life.
“Pluck me not for I live
Another day
As the sun carasses me
And the wind kisses me.”
The older rose in reflection,
“I am beautiful
And an enduring beauty for days
I am love.”
Amazed at the passing thoughts,
I feel the flowers and reflect
In depth on the essentials
Live beautifully to love unconditionally.

Parallels

image

The clouds have known earth and sky,
                                                     Rain to reach the grounded tree.
                                                 Many births witnessed and so many lives;
There, life draws illusion of parallels….

              Myth leaves silently
              And they meet, coming alive;
                              In each the other lives.
