I walked the path,
Believing.
Even the muck carried me safe from fall,
Caring.
I washed the feet clean when home,
Thanking.
And the soul answered life,
“I trust you and our journey, together.”

Circles interlinked,
Layers many.
She went round and round,
Circling and moving inside.
Unaware, how long but,
To her heart’s content,
Till she became the centre.
Unable to set step any further
The unknown child sat down, disoriented
Yet, Laughing…
Pleasantly happy,
Named the lines in alphabets
And she set on her new task.
My mind wandered
Counting the circles
In this cycle of life –
Followed, planned and unplanned.
Unaware, how long for,
Layers were many and
Circles interlinked, still.
I set on an unknown path
Surprisingly happy.

Sacred dreams
Lost ruins and mysterious paths
The woman in veil
Walks graciously…
Tumbling down the green valley
I fall to her feet
And meet the eyes
I see everyday…
Scare shreds confidence etching
Scars in the subconscious;
Unknown scares
A deluge of thoughts I face…

Stood below a banyan tree in the vicinity
On a cloudy night where lightning flickered
I envisaged the lighting across the street
Adorned to welcome the festival of light
And the wail of the newborn shrilled the air.
The roots set to bond deep
Through tap roots and prop roots
Offering to nourish and nurture
Nature leads and instincts act
And a mother is born.
