Colours Within

meditate

Flame kissed the wall.

Dancing to compete,

Upsurge red, orange and yellow

With sparks of green racing along,

Into welcome embrace of blue and indigo,

Rising steadily to an unknown rhythm

Meet with showers of white sparkles that,

Trigger an overwhelming calmness…

Envisaging the moment by seconds

I break away from trance

Infused by colours; now

That they stand aside,

Appreciating the artistic evolution,

I challenge not the expressions

Suffused by an imaginative rein,

Caught between sleep and the subconscious.

Feeling colours submerge deep within

A sense of definite

Emptiness and happiness;

I wake up to a new day.

I believe in taking every day as a learning phase, and exploring my writing skills. I have enjoyed the challenges as a journalist, content writer and college lecturer, and at the moment am living life analysing the extraordinary in the ordinary!
