Yet, not many know
What it’s like
To sip and drink
A plain glass of water.
That set me thinking….

Time Travel
I looked away,
Far and distant;
Weighed.
Time travels,
Straight and distant;
Unstoppable.
My mind on a journey,
Distances never gauged,
Past to future frequented,
Recalled and lived,
In present; this moment.
Time travellers, are we?

Whose was it…
Travelling with a pair of shoes –
A pristine white canvas;
Relentless climbs
And lone journey on rugged path.
Just when someone mentioned her –
‘A fragile being for delicate life,’
She kept me gripped to adventure
And led me home clean feet;
Not one but many
Imprints on her surface
Etched memories
Of the victorious…
A stubborn self?
Unsuspecting shoes?
Susceptible minds?
Or our complete trust?
Whose was it anyway,
When a pristine white canvas
Enamoured me to consider
Travelling with a pair of shoes?
